Ref Mach #8

The electricians were here much of the afternoon to restore power to one of the pods of 4 computers on the main floor (the one closest to the dictionary stand). They think they have it fixed, although machine #8 will not come back up. I contacted IT and asked them to look into it.

The electrician said to keep an eye out. If anything else in that area seems to lose power (lights, whatever), call Facilities again. They will come in early in the morning and pull wire from the pillars. They frankly are not sure what fixed the problem, but they did something and the power worked again. I can tell they're kind of frustrated at not understanding the whole business!
