Databases and MAC users

Hello Everyone

We recently found out through ILL that MAC users are having a hard time retrieving articles through ScienceDirect . This has something to do with the default browser for MAC-Safari. If someone is having a problem downloading an article and they are using a MAC please ask them to install FireFox and then try again.
This came to my attention because last week there was a professor who repeatedly asked for articles that were available in our databases. When I talked through the process with him I found that he was getting errors because of the browser he was using . When he switched to Firefox he was able to download the article.
