ILLiad registration

Hi all,

Just a reminder.  When a first-time ILLiad user registers for an ILLiad account, the creation of that account is mediated.  It is not automatic and instantaneous.

If a student registers for an account in the middle of a business day, it may seem instantaneous because ILL staff are here to verify the new user and make sure the account is being set up according to our guidelines (for example, users must use their @gettysburg.edu email account with ILLiad – if they don’t, this slows down account creation).  If a new user registers on Saturday, the account won’t be created until Sunday afternoon at the earliest, when CaseyAnn comes in (if we are on normal 24-hour schedule).
