Lab problem, black screen

Over the weekend, Nancy reported a problem with Refmach 3 – a student said the monitor went black and the power button lights (both CPU and monitor) were orange rather than green.  Also, the fan was running constantly. 

This morning, Refmach 3 seemed fine – but later during my shift, a student reported the same issue with Refmach 12.  I called IT and explained everything.  Someone should come check today.

Let’s be on the lookout for this issue and keep each other informed if we learn anything about what is causing it.
