Printer problems

The printer has been hiccuping a lot today.  Just a reminder – as enraging as it can be, don’t forget to try turning it off and on if you have trouble.

I have been watching the printer queue a lot today.  Sometimes the queue window says “offline.”  The printer itself looks fine (it says “ready,” all lights are green and solid, no flashing, no red) but nothing is coming out.  “Offline” is bad.  I THINK it means there is a disconnect between our network and the printer.  So far, turning the printer off and on has restored the connection. 

Quality couldn’t advise me on this.  Don Speelman is coming to take a look.
