Wireless Down

UPDATE: Apparently the wireless is working fine now (one of the students who had complained before just came up with a question about an article on his laptop and said it was working again). Also, another student did tell me that the problem was in the CUB as well, so it wasn't a library only incident. But apparently IT took care of it. Hooray!

Hi All,
Within the first 15 minutes of being on the desk tonight several students have come up to me to let me know that the Wireless network was not working. One student mentioned that it is not even showing up on his laptop as an option.

I called over to DPS to have them contact the IT person on call, but in the meantime we're encouraging folks to check out a network cord and plug into the wired network (which is still working fine) or use one of the lab computers.

Not sure if this is a library wireless issue or a campus-wide wireless issue. Hopefully it will be resolved soon!
