Database permission problem…solved

Today a student brought her Mac laptop to the reference desk for me to look at.  She was not able to get into the Historical Newspapers database – she was being asked for a ProQuest login even though she was on campus and connected wirelessly to gbcwifi.  Curious.

The problem turned out to be in her cache, which hadn’t been cleared in a while.

So if you run into a similar problem, you will want to both RESET SAFARI and CLEAR CACHE (both of these options are under the Safari main menu).
